Nothing gets me like nostalgia.
I have shoeboxes full of photos, handwritten notes, and all sorts of keepsakes to prove it. The memories that we cling to, that glow golden and fill us with all the feels. Those moments are precious and fleeting and happening right now. What a rare and special occasion to celebrate your love and life surrounded by the people you cherish most. And when the day is said and done, you’ll have your photos to hold tight. As a wedding and elopement photographer, I strive to highlight the unscripted beauty of human connection and genuine emotions that make up your day. I aim to leave you with hundreds of your real moments in time to transport you right back to the emotions for years and generations to come.
Beyond the camera,
you can often find me lost in a good book or planning my next National Park adventure. I’m a huge fan of Harry Potter, chasing sunsets, and slow mornings cuddled up with my dog. I’ve been a shameless Swiftie since I first heard “Tim McGraw” on the radio in the summer of ‘06. Soulmates are real, and I know because mine are my best friends. Pasta is the greatest food on earth and “measuring with your heart” is an essential rule of my life. My greatest joy comes from the normalcy and romance of everyday life: cooking dinner with my husband Tanner, the smell of fresh cut grass, rainy days spent watching a movie I’ve seen a million times, a sweet treat at the end of the day (sweet treats any time of day, really), when someone sends me a song they think that I should hear. I believe that we owe it to ourselves to celebrate our lives, and to do so at any chance we get.
